Peeker's Advantage go interstellar with neptune
This evening, Daniel "roca" Gustaferri announced on Twitter that he is searching for a team for the upcoming ESEA league season. Dust2.us has learned that Peeker's Advantage have enlisted the services of former Ghost player Jason "neptune" Tran as his replacement on the roster. When prompted for his reasoning for joining the roster, neptune told Dust2.us that it was "to stay warm."
The player change is the second move made this week by the roster, with the team picking up "skyrocketing" star Noah "ULTRA" Giesbrecht following the departure of Andy "vSa" Xu. neptune previously played alongside the roster in the second MSI MGA open qualifier, helping the team to secure a spot in the Closed Qualifier round, where he was replaced by vSa. The team were eliminated in their first round matchup by Lazarus, with vSa departing the team shortly after.
Aside from his brief escapade in the open qualifier, neptune has been largely inactive following the disbanding of the Ghost roster, with his only other official appearance seeing him stand-in for Thunder Logic at the NCS GEXCon Major. A 3-4th place finish at the event following a semifinal loss to the eventual champions, Bushido Boyz, saw neptune and company sent packing, although he and his teammate Jonathan "djay" Dallal still ended the event as two of the top three players in the playoffs.
When contacted by Dust2.us, coach Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg bestowed upon us some more wise words regarding the team's second change in as many days:
The king of the sea has joined Peekers Advantage. neptune, the young phenom, is going to add a new dimension to our team. That being said, we wish roca the absolute best and know he'll be grinding with a team soon. He's still one of the best raw aimers in North America.
