RUNnGUN take a deep dive with Oceanus

After settling on a fifth player, the French Canadians have found an organization to call home.

Oceanus, an organization based out of Montreal, have signed the French Canadian RUNnGUN roster, Dust2.us has learned.

The squad have been seen competing in a number of online qualifiers, fielding a variety of fifth players following the departure of Loic "effys" Sauvageau for LiViD. Their most recent result saw them narrowly fall in the quarterfinals of the third ECS Season 8 Pinnacle Cup qualifier.

The team also had a decent run through the most recent season of Advanced, earning a spot in the playoffs with a 10-6 record. An elimination by the hands of Dogs of War in their round of 16 matchup saw Yannick "KOLER" Blanchette and company immediately sent packing, leading to a rebuilding effort that saw the team pick up Cedric "M3lio" Perrault following his removal from LiViD.

While on the hunt for a fifth player, the team tested Jonathan "djay" Dallal and Gabriel "tENSKI" Rodrigue, with a member of the team informing Dust2.us that they were primarily considering Canadian players to leave the opportunity of bootcamps open. tENSKI was eventually settled upon, with djay opting to pursue other options.

Oceanus now have the following roster:

  • Canada Yannick "KOLER" Blanchette
  • Canada Michael "miLLe" St-Pierre
  • Canada David "J0LZ" Jolin
  • Canada Cedric "M3lio" Perrault
  • Canada Gabriel "tENSKI" Rodrigue

Oceanus will likely compete in the final ECS Season 8 Pinnacle Cup qualifier, scheduled to run from August 24-26. The team will also compete in Advanced Season 32, with the league season kicking off on September 2nd.
