Luminosity bench HEN1

Roster changes continue to reverberate through the Brazilian scene as its top teams attempt to get back to their winning ways.

As initially reported by Roque Marques over at Mais Esports, Luminosity have announced the benching of Henrique "HEN1" Teles.

During HEN1's fourteen months with Luminosity the organization have struggled to find consistent results even after reassembling the core of the Immortals lineup that finished second at PGL Krakow 2017.

On LAN, the  team's sole notable placings came in the form of dual second place finishes at DreamHack Open Valencia 2018 and DreamHack Open Atlanta 2018. Other than that, Luminosity notably upset MIBR in EPL Season 9 Americas to secure a spot in the Finals however they exited the event following one-sided losses to HellRaisers and MIBR.

This move comes off the back of an additional report by HLTV and Mais Esports which suggests that Luminosity are currently targeting Brazilian youngster Felipe "skullz" Medeiros as HEN1's replacement, though this move has yet to come to fruition.

As a result of this change, Luminosity's roster is now:

  • Brazil Gabriel "NEKIZ" Schenato
  • Brazil Lucas "steel" Lopes
  • Brazil Ricardo "boltz" Prass
  • Brazil João "felps" Vasconcellos (Loan)
  • Brazil Rafael "zakk" Fernandes (Coach)
  • Brazil Henrique “HEN1” Teles (Inactive)
