FURIA will have to continue without Swani's help

Swani leaves FURIA for G2

The German analyst will be a part of a European team for the first time in nearly three years.

In a TwitLonger posted several days ago, Jan "Swani" Müller announced that he will be leaving FURIA and moving forward with G2 as an analyst.

Swani joined FURIA in June after being a free agent since leaving NRG in February, and helped the roster solidify their position as a top ten team in the world. While he was a part of the team, FURIA managed to win the EMF CS:GO World Invitational, qualify for the upcoming StarLadder Major, and win the ESEA Season 31 Global Challenge.

Swani stated that leaving the organization was completely his decision and was a result of him being unable to work closely with the team due to the time difference between Europe and North America. The analyst went on to say that working exclusively with North American teams took an impact on both his health and personal life, and that when he realized he was beginning to neglect friends and family to catch up on missed sleep, he decided he "needed a drastic change".

Though he will obviously not appear in the server with G2, it is presumed that Swani's work will be on display when the Frenchmen take on TYLOO in the StarLadder Major Main Qualifer on August 23rd.
