NRG invited to ESL One New York 2019

ESL have announced that NRG have received the fourth invite to ESL One New York, which is set to take place September 26th - 29th.

This will mark NRG's second ESL One New York, with the team making playoffs last year after besting G2 and FaZe in the group stage. Additionally, ESL One New York will be NRG's first event in the recently announced Intel Grand Slam Season 3.

They are currently the fourth highest ranked team at the event, and it would be a significant win for Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and co. if they can take the trophy over regional rival Liquid.

The invite follows on the heels of news from yesterday that NRG opted to withdraw from the Arctic Invitational, and will be replaced by CR4ZY.
