junior and Lowkey part ways, Final Feature experience jitters

The two teams who saw their Advanced seasons come to an abrupt end in the Round of 16 have made some changes... maybe.

Following the end of Lowkey's Advanced Season 31 campaign at the hands of heX, Paytyn "junior" Johnson took to Twitter to announce that he is looking for a team for next season.

When reached by Dust2.us, Alex "vek" Voynov said that "everyone agreed it would be better for everyone going our separate ways."

The team participated in the first MSI MGA 2019 qualifier over the weekend using Stephen "Huston" Huston, and Dust2.us have been informed that the player is on trial with the team.

As such, Lowkey currently sport the following roster:

  • Canada Alex "vek" Voynov
  • United States Alex "Obs1dian" Conrad
  • United States Damian "droid" Boulware
  • United States Lucas "Fiziq" Blow
  • United States Stephen "Huston" Huston (Trial)

Final Feature, who also lost in the first round of the Advanced playoffs, have seemingly parted ways with Jordan "jitter" Ruggiero, considering that the player has departed their ESEA roster, and the rest of the team played the MSI MGA 2019 qualifier with Variance's Erick "Xeppaa" Bach.

However, when contacted by Dust2.us, a member of the team informed us that jitter has said that he is only trolling.

Final Feature's roster is (maybe):

  • United States Malick "dangle" Abid
  • United States Jeremy "Mundle" King
  • United States Austin "RenZ" Dickman
  • Canada Shawn "Magowi" O'Malley

For the teams that did not lose in the first or second rounds, Advanced Season 31 marches towards its conclusion tonight, with LiViD taking on Big Frames for a spot in MDL Season 31. The first matches of the fifth place decider will also play out tonight.
