Rounding out the opening matchups of Group A, Singularity faced off against CIS team Spirit. Starting on their T-side, Singularity trailed for the entirety of the half though they managed to find a run of rounds towards the end of the half to close the gap to a more manageable four round deficit. On their CT-side Singularity won the opening pistol round and continued to find rounds though in the end Spirit managed to pull away and find three rounds in a row to close out the map 16-11.

Over in Group B, FURIA managed to find a quick 16-6  win on Nuke over Australian team Chiefs even though they have continued to use coach Nicholas "guerri" Nogueira in place of Rinaldo "ableJ" Moda Junior. During the map, Kaike  "KSCERATO" Cerato led his team  with 26 kills and 115.7 ADR.

Continuing on, with their coach in tow ATK fell to German team Sprout 16-7 on Mirage after Sprout put up a nearly perfect opening T-side which had them up 11-4 at the end of the half. After that it was a matter of cleanup as although ATK found four more rounds, the large round difference was too large to overcome, especially with Tiaan "T.c" Coertzen unfortunately only finding three kills on the map.

In the elimination matches, Singularity and Party Astronauts were the first two teams to square off. Starting on Nuke, Singularity got off to an early lead as they put up a strong T-side, netting them a 5-round lead at the end of the half. However, once the two teams switched sides, Party Astronauts managed to return the favor as they found five out of the first six rounds to close the round difference to a single round. Following this Singularity claimed three more rounds before Party Astronauts managed to complete the comeback as they claimed the next six rounds in a row to close out Nuke 16-13. During the map Party Astronauts in-game leader Ben "ben1337" managed to find 27 frags alongside 99.4 ADR.

Moving onto Overpass, Singularity fared far better as they initially crushed Party Astronauts to claim a 12-3 lead on their CT-side. After switching sides, Party Astronauts opened the half by claiming the first four rounds though they never managed to take the lead as Singularity claimed four out the next six rounds to close out the map 16-9.

On the third and final map, Singularity continued their momentum as they claimed a 10-5  lead following a strong Vertigo CT-side. Moving onto their T-side Singularity claimed two more rounds before Party Astronauts answered back with three of their own to put the score at 12-8. However, following this Party Astronauts only found one more round before Singularity eliminated them 16-9 finish. Over the course of the series Cameron "Hydrex" Kern led the server with 64 kills and a 1.33 rating.

The first decider match to conclude saw FURIA face off against Chiefs once again. Starting on Chiefs' map pick of Train, FURIA began the map off with a strong lead as the Brazilians locked Chiefs out to take an 11-4 lead on their CT-side. However,  once the two squads switched sides Chiefs demonstrated their strength on their map pick as they managed to nullify the round difference, before beating FURIA to fifteen rounds. In the last round of regulations, FURIA managed to force overtime before putting up a strong performance in overtime to take Train 19-16.

On Nuke, Chiefs began the map by finding revenge on FURIA for taking their map pick by mounting a strong defense to take an 10-5 lead on their CT-side. Moving into the second half Chiefs managed to claim their opening T-side pistol though any hope of forcing a third map for the Australian team was quickly dashed as FURIA locked Chiefs, claiming the next eleven rounds in a row to take the map 16-11. During the series Andrei "arT" Piovezan got his chance in the spotlight as he managed to find 54 kills and a 1.33 rating.
