ESEA announces Season 32 details; to offer EPL promotion

The upcoming player break will push back the start of the season to September.

As the start of ESEA Global Challenge Season 31 draws near, ESEA have announced the details for Season 32 of the ESEA league.

Due to the upcoming player break being scheduled from July 22 - August 18, the start of the league season has been delayed. In their announcement post, ESEA assured that they would have "some off-season activities which will be announced soon" for those that still wish to compete during the break.

The delay will allow for the start of the league season to overlap with ESL Pro League Season 10, thereby making MDL Season 32 a promotion season as well. A second ESEA Global Challenge event is also likely to take place towards the end of the year, although the post did not hint at any dates or details.

Move-ups for the upcoming season will be announced on July 26th, shortly after the conclusion of Advanced playoffs and MDL Relegation. League registration will remain open until August 26th, with the regular season running until November 3rd. Teams can begin scheduling their matches from August 30th onwards.

The current league season has yet to wrap up, with FURIA and Singularity set to play on LAN in the MDL Season 31 grand finals for a spot in ESL Pro League. Both teams will also be competing at the upcoming Global Challenge LAN, where they will take on the likes of Vitality, Sprout, and ATK. Advanced playoffs have yet to commence, with the round of 16 matchups currently scheduled for July 9th at 9:30 PM EDT.
