Could koosta be taking his rifling and vaping talents elsewhere?
Kenneth "koosta" Suen took to Twitter late last night to announce that he is now a free agent.

A follow-up tweet in response to Pujan "FNS" Mehta further clarified that the player is "no longer legally bound to a contract." When contacted by Dust2.us, koosta said his "contract expired, I don’t want to go into more detail at this time." It is not known if he is in ongoing talks with the Ghost organization at this time.
The time of the communication raises further questions, as it comes almost exactly a year after koosta, Josh "steel" Nissan and coach James "JamezIRL" Macaulay joined the organization. It is not currently known if the two are in a similar situation to koosta. Sniper Matthew "WARDELL" Yu was inked to a three-year deal by the organization back in November of last year.
Over the past year, the trio have been integral to a reversal of fortunes for the organization, having qualified for several international LANs. Most recently, the team fell just short of reaching the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals. Notably, the team did not participate in Majors or ECS during this period, due to steel's matchfixing ban.
UPDATE: Both steel and JamezIRL have confirmed to Dust2.us that their initial contracts with Ghost have expired, and they have not yet been offered new ones. As JamezIRL elegantly put it:
Our contracts are done as of today and there just hasn’t been a definitive answer as to what’s going to happen. Put simply, since i haven’t been offered a new contract, I’m technically a free agent. Not that we’ve been let go—yet.
As of now, the following players are currently tied to Ghost:
- Matthew "WARDELL" Yu
- Jason "neptune" Tran
- Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir
The team are not currently slated for any upcoming events.
