dapr will give Bad News Bear some additional flexibility

dapr fortifies Bad News Bears ahead of ESEA roster lock

The former Lazarus player is some added insurance for the potentially playoff-bound team.

After having stood-in for Bad News Bears during the second IEM Chicago qualifier, Michael "dapr" Gulino has now joined the team's ESEA roster, just ahead of today's roster lock.

dapr's addition to the team comes a little over a week after the player was released from Lazarus, with the team now linked with a move to add Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker.

Contacted by Dust2.us, dapr shared that he has joined the team's roster because he "might as well be on a roster if I want to play", but that he has not joined the team officially. Furthermore, the player will not be available to the team until the 17th anyway, as he will be in Poland for a wedding. He would return just in time to assist the team during playoffs, should he wish.

With the sort-of addition of dapr, Bad News Bears still have the following roster:

  • United States Peter "ptr" Gurney
  • United States Mitch "mitch" Semago
  • United States Josh "shinobi" Abastado
  • United States Austin "crashies" Roberts
  • United States Jeff "RZU" Ngo (Stand-in)

Bad News Bears are set to face off against ATK tonight at 9 PM EDT. Both teams are in playoff contention, currently sitting at 11-4 and 7-3, respectively. The matchup is also notable for being the first time that Tyson "TenZ" Ngo will face off against his former team.
