JRT wins ECS Community Caster Challenge
John "JRT" Tsoupanarias has been announced the winner of the ECS Season 7 North America Community Caster Challenge. However, he announced on Twitter yesterday that he is unable to attend the event.
JRT's inability to attend the event likely is due to the fact that FACEIT waited until less than a week before the start of the event to determine the winners of the contest.
Luckily for JRT, he has been invited to attend "a future ECS event", which will likely be the Season 8 Finals. If ECS's pattern of alternating between London and various cities in North America holds true, it should be far easier for JRT to plan ahead for the event, especially with more than a week's notice.
As for the British winner, "CodyCasts", he has made his way to Wembley and is set to join the main cast this weekend.
Along with winning the ECS Season 7 Caster Challenge, JRT was also recently selected by ESEA to be part in their Next Big Caster contest, with the winner joining the broadcast team during the Season 31 Global Challenge.
