stanislaws 14-month tenure with Complexity has come to an end

stanislaw steps down from Complexity; oBo joins

The young fragger will have big shoes to fill as he will be making his LAN debut in three days.

Complexity have announced the signing of 15 year old FPL player Owen "oBo" Schlatter, and in a follow-up tweet the team announced that IGL Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz has stepped down from the starting lineup.

After initially being reported by Jarek "DeKay" Lewis at Dexerto two months ago, oBo has now officially joined Complexity, joining his first real team after playing for Adaptation in MDL and FeelsUnderAgeMan in Main a few seasons ago. The young player rose to notability and turned heads over the year by winning numerous weeks of FPL.

As for the outgoing stanislaw, during his tenure with Complexity, the team most notably achieved a top-eight finish at the FACEIT Major: London. Since then, Complexity have failed to find consistent results and have since completely overhauled their roster, with Rory "dephh" Jackson and Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan being the sole remaining members from that lineup. With this change, dephh will be taking over the reins as IGL, having previously played under Josh "shinobi" Abastado, Alec "Slemmy" White, and Pujan "FNS" Mehta before stanislaw.

Following the announcement of his departure by Complexity, stanislaw took to Twitter to discuss why he decided to step down from the team, stating he felt he could no longer make progress with the current lineup, and that he was no longer "the person to lead the team forward."

With this change, Complexity's roster is now:

  • Rory "dephh" Jackson
  • United States Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan
  • Australia Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland
  • United States Hunter "SicK" Mims
  • United States Owen "oBo" Schlatter
  • United States Matt "Warden" Dickens (Coach)
  • Canada Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz (Inactive)

This new-look Complexity roster will be tested immediately out of the gate, as they will be attending the ECS Season 7 Finals in three days, with the team facing off against Vitality in their opening matchup. Luckily for the team, they have also announced the resolution of Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland’s visa with the whole squad finally having the chance to bootcamp together before heading to London.

Dust2 Birthday cake!
Not sure if kicking the igl for a young talent was a good idea.
EDIT: Mb, he left. Still a bad situation though.
