Snakes and co. are getting the band back together

Snakes and Grim join The Quest

The Quest continues, with what now resembles the previous SoaR/Dignitas roster even more closely.

It has been announced that the former Spacestation duo of Ryan "Snakes" Amann and Michael "Grim" Wince have linked up with The Quest. To make way for the second player, in-game leader Matthew "mCe" Elmore will be stepping down from active play to coach the squad, which the player had previously told Dust2.us was his eventual goal.

The move follows the team losing Jonathan "Jonji" Carey to New Identity yesterday. As for Spacestation, the team fell in the quarterfinals of ECS Season 7 Week 5 last night, matching their performances in the previous four weeks of competition. With the season over for the team, it is expected their departure from the organization is imminent. In announcing his departure, Grim remarked he had "nothing but good things to say about Spacestation and the team."

The Quest now have the following roster:

  • United States Logan "Voltage" Long
  • United States Jack "xCeeD" Holiman
  • United States Gabe "Spongey" Greiner
  • United States Ryan "Snakes" Amann
  • United States Michael "Grim" Wince
  • United States Matthew "mCe" Elmore (Coach)

With the two new additions, the team is almost identical to the SoaR side that shocked Rise Nation to qualify for ESL Pro League Season 7, and went on to sign with Dignitas. That quest did not have a fairytale ending, as the team would be bounced from the league after a dismal 2-20 season.

The Quest currently sit at 2-2 in MDL, and 3-2 in Group D of WINNERS League.
