yay will don the (very different) Complexity colors once more

yay returns to Complexity for ESL Pro League

The American will briefly link back up with the organization he parted ways with at the beginning of March.

Complexity have announced that they will be fielding none other than former member Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker for the second stage of ESL Pro League Season 9, as Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland's visa issues have not yet been resolved.

Though largely inactive since parting ways with Complexity, yay recently concluded a  surprising stand-in appearance with Brazilian side INTZ. He initially helped them make it through to the Closed Qualifier for ESL One Cologne, before narrowly missing qualifying to the ECS Season 7 Finals after a loss to FURIA.

The player has also recently been linked with a move to MDL squad Bad News Bears, which is still expected to take place.

With the announcement, Complexity's lineup for ESL Pro League Season 9 Round 2 will be:

  • Rory "dephh" Jackson
  • Canada Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz
  • United States Shahzeb "ShahZaM" Khan
  • United States Hunter "SicK" Mims
  • United States Jaccob "yay" Whiteaker (Stand-in)

Complexity's first match of the second stage will be tonight at 8:20 PM EDT against Renegades, who will also be using an as-of-yet unannounced stand-in. Also in Group A are MIBR and Isurus.
