The first week of FPL for May has come to a close, seeing Matthew "no_one" Congdon narrowly edge out a first place finish over Erick "Xeppaa" Bach.

Also among the top ten was recent FPL-C promotee David "J0LZ" Jolin, who earned himself $500 with a seventh place finish. Notably, Xeppaa and Peter "ptr" Gurney also ended the week near the top of the table with a relatively small number of matches played — Xeppaa came in second by winning ten of the eleven matches he played, whereas ptr placed in eighth having won seven out of eight matches.

Liquid outlast Fnatic to take IEM Sydney; Twistzz named MVP

Just outside of the top ten were a number of frequent FPL fliers, including Austin "crashies" Roberts and Sam "s0m" Oh. With IEM Sydney taking place this past week, a majority of players from the top teams were absent from the standings.

Benita "bENITA" Novshadian and Shawn "Magowi" O'Malley return to the top of the board for the second week running, although Rank S superstar Danny "cxzi" Strzelczyk was the one to claim the largest chunk of change with a first place finish.

Almost 50 points separated cxzi from his closest competition, with the race for second coming down to the wire as Nicholas "stealthy" Petrakos barely edged out the spot over Caleb "opportunity" Davis.
