dayV1D's time as AVANT coach comes to an end

The American's third Australian odyssey has concluded after nearly five months with AVANT.

Matt "dayV1D" David has announced via Twitter that he is now on the lookout for a new team following the end of his time with Australian organization AVANT.

dayV1D joined the organization back in November of last year, following his decision to leave European squad Smoke Criminals. During his tenure with AVANT, he helped lead the team to a 1st place victory in ESEA Australia Open Season 29, a third-fourth place finish in Season 30 of the AU MDL, and a first-place finish at the domestic LPL ANZ Championship.

When Dust2.us reached out to dayV1D for comment, he told us that overall, he enjoyed his tenure with the team and was happy with the final roster composition.

AVANT’s CS:GO team experienced a degree of upheaval dayV1D's time with the organization after Willem "badge" Clarke retired and the team decided to part ways with Tyson "pan1k" Missak and Jake "ju1ces" H.

Without dayV1D, AVANT's roster looks as follows:

  • Australia Edward "eLUSIVE" Kong
  • Australia Sam "mizu" Richardson
  • New Zealand Razmik "RaZ" Bastadjan
  • New Zealand Jay "soju_j" Jeong
  • Australia Mike "ap0c" Aliferis

Any organizations interested in dayV1D's services as a coach or analyst can contact him through his Twitter account.
