WINNERS League groups set; play commences
The organizers of the WINNERS League announced the four groups for their Invite division yesterday, over a series of tweets. The league, held on FACEIT, features four groups of eight teams looking to claim the majority of the $15,000 prize pool.
This is the first time all 32 competing teams have been confirmed for the division, with only 15 teams having had their invites announced before now. The league sees a mixture of teams compete, with Pro League teams Swole Patrol and INTZ acting as league headliners. Alongside them are a number of MDL teams, including this season's runners up Bad News Bears.
Current ESEA Advanced finalists Zone and Thunder Logic make an appearance in Groups C and D respectively. Other well-known teams include the likes of Luminosity, stream team Mythic, Denial, CLG Red, Dignitas fe and Singularity. The full group draw for the league is below:

The WINNERS League has already seen one match played out in Group C, between oNe and Chris and the boys. The match, on Mirage, saw the Brazilian team run out as 16-8 winners with Bruno "b4rtiN" Câmara topping the scoreboard. The next scheduled match to take place is another Group C fixture, with High Octane facing Grizzlys at 9 PM EDT.
