The 30-year-old shared his thoughts on his time in Envy

reltuC speaks out on time in Envy

Having been released from his contract with the organization, reltuC shared his thoughts on the past six months on the team.

Stephen "reltuC" Cutler has posted a TwitLonger to discuss his time on Envy, spanning from the start of the roster last year to earlier this week, when he and Taylor "Drone" Johnson were replaced by the additions of Jacob "FugLy" Medina, Sam "s0m" Oh, and Bradley "ANDROID" Fodor.

After thanking the Envy organization for their support and accomodation, reltuC related the past six months as "a wild ride of constant changes and unsatisfactory performances", citing a "few factors that have significantly impacted [him]" during his time on the team. He then went on to express his determination to "come back even stronger", reiterating that he is now a free agent following his release from Envy.

When elaborating on the different lineups that Envy fielded, reltuC described it as "both a learning experience, but also a frustrating one as well." The original Envy lineup that was assembled prior to the start of ESL Pro League Season 8, consisting of reltuC, Drone, Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen, Noah "Nifty" Francis, and Josh "jdm64" Marzano, was the one that reltuC felt the most familiarity and comfort with, a situation which changed following the benching of SEMPHIS.

After the team brought on Matt "Pollo" Wilson as a stand-in, reltuC was put into an in-game leader role, feeling that he "played quite well" until the team once again made a change with the addition of Finn "karrigan" Anderson. On this, reltuC had the following to say:

I was put into unfamiliar positions all at once and had to adjust to them within a very short amount of time before important events, such as the Americas Minor.

There were also clashes in personality and playstyle that caused rifts within some of my teammates. It just seemed like we were never going to fully connect with one another. It was an unfortunate situation for all of us.

Having given his side of the story and mentioned his free agency once again, reltuC concluded the TwitLonger by saying that he intends to stream FPL while he awaits offers from another team. With the ESL Pro League roster lock going into effect yesterday, any teams in the league that are interested in acquiring reltuC would be forced to use a transfer slot to add the player.

I don't think he's actually that bad, remember when he was on Thoorin's NA team list a long time ago? If he gets back into form he could be a solid pickup.
