BLAST Pro Series will make its way to the West Coast

BLAST Pro Series Los Angeles announced

RFRSH Entertainment have announced a second tournament stop in the United States.

RFRSH Entertainment has unveiled the fourth BLAST Pro Series stop of the year, set to head to Los Angeles, California from July 12-13. The event marks the second entry into the United States by the tournament organizer, with BLAST Pro Series Miami already on the books for April 12-13.

In identical fashion to prior BLAST Pro Series events, the Los Angeles stop will feature a $250,000 prize pool, with six teams receiving direct invites to the tournament. Taking place almost exactly a month after BLAST Pro Series Madrid, the Los Angeles stop will play out at the Galens Center, a 10,000 seat indoor arena owned by the University of Southern California.

Although no invites have been revealed for the tournament, it is likely that the RFRSH-owned Astralis team would continue to participate in all BLAST events. Other likely candidates include Liquid and MIBR, who are both based out of Los Angeles, as well as FaZe and NiP, who have consistently received invites to BLAST tournaments.

BLAST Pro Series São Paulo is currently underway, with the first day of matches concluding mere hours ago. Following the conclusion of the event in Brazil, BLAST will make its way up to Miami and then over to Madrid, with the Los Angeles stop being next up. Four more host cities are set to be announced in the coming months, with a total of eight stops taking place over the course of the year.
