FPL & FPL-C Recap - PwnAlone lives up to his name; gets first FPL win

This past week of FPL saw the return of Cloud9's Golden, who placed in the top ten.

The second week of March has come to an end, and with it, another week of FPL. This time around it was Josh "PwnAlone" Pigue who topped the board, edging out a first place finish over Cloud9's Timothy "autimatic" Ta by eight points.

Most notably, this week sees the return of in-game leader Maikil "Golden" Selim to the standings, with the Swede returning to Cloud9's active roster earlier in the month. The winners of the two previous weeks, Austin "crashies" Roberts and Maxim "wippie" Shepelev, both slid down the standings, with wippie managing to stay in the money with a ninth place finish while crashies fell all the way down to 22nd.

Far more games were played by the players at the top this week, nearly doubling the number of matches played by the winners of the past two weeks. PwnAlone won 27 of the 45 matches he played, with autimatic not far behind having won 23 of his 38 matches. Comparatively, crashies and wippie played 26 and 24 matches in the weeks that they won, respectively.

Last week's FPL-C winner, Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak returns for the second week of March, although he has been ousted from the top spot by Eric "Eric" W., who ended the week with a 26 point lead above 4pack. Notorious meme artist Damian "droid" Boulware also made an appearance in the top five, bringing up the rear having won 21 of his 34 matches this past week.
