FPL-C Recap - Smiley and vylo make their way to FPL
The final week of FPL-C for January came to a close on Thursday, seeing Randy "Smiley" Sandoval top the board. The player also earned a spot in FPL through the qualifier at the end of the week alongside Leighton "vylo" Vieria, who placed first in FPL-C the previous week.
Smiley earned first place having played 50 matches in the past week, the most of any player in the league. Warren "hades" Rettich was the next closest having played 49, but placed in 25th by winning just 23 of his games. Meanwhile, Smiley won 28 of his matches, narrowly edging out a leaderboard spot over Alexander "retrQ" Kadan who sat just 10 points below in second place.
The leaderboard also saw three players tie in points for seventh place, with Jimmy "Marved" Nguyen pulling ahead by winning six matches straight out of his seven played for the week.
