MDL Week 2 Recap - Luminosity outshine the competition
The second week of MDL Season 30 has concluded, seeing Mythic playing the most number of matches this week with three. Their record fared worse than last week however, as the stream team managed only one win against iNTACT.
The recently relegated side of Luminosity made their MDL debut with two wins after returning from iBUYPOWER Masters, initially defeating Mythic 16-7 while fielding coach Rafael "zakk" Fernandes and topping off the week with a dominant 16-1 victory over MASSIVEimpact with Ricardo "boltz" Prass playing from Brazil. Spacestation also took down both Mythic and MASSIVEimpact in their matches this week, continuing in their winning ways for a 4-0 record.
Both FURIA and oNe have yet to play any matches due to their attendance of the IEM Katowice Americas Minor, with FURIA qualifying for the New Challengers stage. oNe, having been eliminated from the Minor in the group stage, have their first matchup of the season scheduled for the upcoming week.
