The fate of the South Africans is up in the air

Bravado end Project Destiny fundraising campaign

Former backers of the Indiegogo will be reimbursed within five days.

Earlier today, South African organization Bravado announced an abrupt end to their Indiegogo fundraising campaign:

Just over a week ago, the organization were allowed to extend their campaign due to not having the velocity to reach their goal. While they had cleared half of their goal, a large majority of the funds had come from a small subset of donors.

Dust2.us can confirm that refunds have already begun being issued.

According to Bravado CEO Andreas "cent" Hadjipaschali, the organization "are not in a position to release a statement but we will be doing so in the next week or so."

The news comes on the heels of Bravado exiting the IEM Katowice Americas Minor in their group decider match.

As of now, the South Africans are slated to participate in MDL Season 30, but it is unknown if they will have the backing to remain in the United States at this juncture.
