More uncertainty in TENZKI's future

TENZKI announces free agency

The Danish player has returned to Europe after just over a month with the North American team.

Jesper "TENZKI" Plougmann has announced through Twitter that he has ended his stint as a stand-in for Rogue, stating he is now a free agent and looking for new opportunities.

TENZKI initially joined Rogue at the end of November in order to replace Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland who had to return to Australia in order to renew his visa and would therefore miss out on the ESL Pro League Season 8 Relegation tournament. As it turned out, the team weren't granted an emergency transfer to allow the Dane to compete, meaning they used Michael "Uber" Stapells as their super sub once again.

TENZKI was utilized in the following qualifiers for the Americas Minor and StarSeries i-League Season 7, even after Rickeh had returned from Australia. While Rogue failed to secure a spot in Katowice, they did top the StarSeries qualifier after a 2-0 win over Envy. These results precipitated the Australian's move to compLexity, with many expecting TENZKI's stand-in period to be made permanent.

Dust2.us has learned that the Danish player is currently back in Europe, with both TENZKI and his agent not outright ruling out a return to Rogue.

With Rogue's roster still up in the air, their team currently looks as follows:

  • United States Daniel "vice" Kim
  • United States Spencer "Hiko" Martin
  • United States Hunter "SicK" Mims
  • Denmark Mathias "MSL" Lauridsen

Rogue's next tournament is scheduled for March 30th, when they will head to Shanghai, China, for the StarSeries i-League Season 7 Finals.
