Project Destiny fundraiser reaches 30% of goal
It's been 10 days since the start of the Indiegogo campaign to continue Project Destiny, with over $9,000 being raised, making up 30% of the total amount of $30K. The campaign has 15 days left, meaning that if the donations continue at the same rate, the goal will not be met by the deadline.
The organization has recently revealed the breakdown of where the raised funds would go to for their stay in the USA. The breakdown reveals the costs of competition for the imported side for a single quarter, broken down by month. Listing from rent through to groceries, utility and travel costs, the total cost to stay in the USA has been calculated at $32,160 - just over the Indiegogo goal. Some of the notable donators so far have been Sam "s0m" Oh, Alexandre "gAuLeS" Chiqueta, Petar "Tgwri1s" Milovanovic, Anthony "vanity" Malaspina, Ricardo "dead" Sinigaglia, and Tarik "tarik" Celik.
Additionally, Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo has said he will help to finish the amount if it gets close to done while Dan "apEX" Madesclaire tweeted that he will do a donation stream for the cause.
