s0m steps down from Naventic

The move comes barely a day after the departure of in-game leader Arya "arya" Hekmat.

Sam "s0m" Oh has announced via Twitter that he is stepping down from the active Naventic roster, and actively looking for a team for the upcoming ESEA MDL season.

s0m had earlier in the day been the one to announce that Arya "arya" Hekmat would be leaving the team.

s0m was brought into the team during ESEA MDL Season 25, and along with Tyson "TenZ" Ngo breathed new life into a squad that had long languished on the Premier/MDL level. Naventic made playoffs that season, narrowly missing out on a trip to the ESEA Season 25 Global Challenge — but their fortunes were not as good this season, as they struggled under new in-game leader arya.

With this most recent change, Naventic now have:

  • United States Daniel "impsta" Whelan
  • United States Giovanni "Fighter" Leo
  • Canada Tyson "TenZ" Ngo
  • United States Sam "s0m" Oh (Inactive)

The same as with arya, s0m will have to finish out the team's run in CEVO Main playoffs with them, due to roster locks.

Dust2.us has learned that the team have already begun practicing with potential replacements for their lost members, including at least one member of Adaptation — an organization which is partially owned by Naventic manager Jeremy "Jeremy9000" Gray.

Wow, didn't really expect that. I wonder if this is his decision or the teams.
