The past year has been turbulent for kNgV-

kNgV- issues apology to DreamHack, previous organizations, FNS, Thorin

The embattled player says he now "see things which before [he] couldn't."

Friday night, Vito "kNgV-" Giuseppe of INTZ issued a lengthy apology message via Twitter in both Portuguese and English.

The message begins as follows:

We are nearing the end of the year which always leads us to reflect more. This year has been very important for me. Returning to competitive play on a smaller scale has led me to see things which before I couldn't and helped me be a better person today.

With the player going on to apologize for his words and actions to a laundry list of entities and persons, including the community as a whole, DreamHack, Immortals, 100 Thieves, eUnited in-game leader Pujan "FNS" Mehta and Duncan "Thorin" Shields.

kNgV- (in)famously went looking for FNS at DreamHack Open Montreal 2017, after the latter made a joke regarding Immortals being late for the first map of the event's grand finals. The series of events that followed resulted in him being benched by the Immortals organization.

During his brief tenure with 100 Thieves, kNgV- again made the wrong kind of news when he directed what could be construed as homophobic language towards Thorin. The entire 100 Thieves line-up would eventually be released by the organization, without ever playing a map under the name.

FNS, Thorin, and Immortals all responded to the message, with Thorin saying he hopes kNgV-'s "play in the server be what people discuss now."

To the surprise of many, kNgV-'s INTZ squad not only managed to retain their ESL Pro League spot, but even managed to qualify to the league's Finals, where the team finished 13-16th after losses to BIG and G2.

While kNgV- has chosen to do some early reflecting before 2018 comes to a close, INTZ still have one event left before the year is out, that being the PLG Grand Slam in Abu Dhabi.
