StarSeries i-League Season 7 qualifier details announced
StarLadder have announced the teams who have been invited to participate in the Closed Qualifier for their upcoming $500,000 event in March. The first stage will see two groups of four teams play through double-elimination groups, with the top two teams in each group advancing to the playoff stage. There, they will be joined by four higher seeded sides in a single-elimination bracket.
The teams participating in the first stage are:

All of these teams will be looking to join Liquid, NRG, and Wild as representatives from the Americas. INTZ, Swole Patrol, Cloud9, and Renegades all declined invitations to participate, and regretably, after their successful run at DreamHack Open Winter, Bravado will not be in the mix.
The event will likely see the debut of new fifths for Rogue, Spacestation, and Vireo.pro
The qualifier will run from December 7th to 18th, coming to a conclusion just before most teams will start their winter hibernation. While Singularity and Vireo.pro will be at the ESEA Global Challenge at the start of this period, it is likely their first matchesin the qualifier will be scheduled for after it concludes.The main event is still a ways off, set to begin at the end of March.
