arya and Naventic part ways

After Naventic defeated SetToDestroyX 2-1 in the CEVO Main lower bracket, player Sam "s0m" Oh announced on Twitter that the team and Arya "arya" Hekmat would be going their separate ways.

Naventic's roster is now:

• Daniel "impsta" Whelan
• Giovanni "Fighter" Leo
• Sam "s0m" Oh
• Tyson "TenZ" Ngo

Dust2.us has learned that the in-game leading duties will now revert to long-time team captain Daniel "impsta" Whelan, who stepped back from the role when arya joined the team back in September.

Coming into ESEA MDL Season 26, Naventic were looking to be a powerhouse squad, as they had just narrowly missed last season's Global Challenge LAN by coming fourth in the league. The addition of Hekmat clearly did not have the desired results, and this season the team ended fourteenth in the table.

While the ESEA season and Pro League hopes have ended for the team, they are still alive in CEVO Main. Due to roster locks in that league, they will play the remainder with Hekmat, after which he will fully depart the team.
