Will Cloud9's roster be able to shine in Arlington?

ECS Season 6 Finals groups and schedule announced

Both North American teams will have to survive against North and NiP in Group B.

FACEIT have revealed the groups and schedule for the ECS Season 6 Finals, which will play out in the Esports Stadium in Arlington, Texas next thursday.

Due to Renegades dropping out of the event in favor of Toyota Masters Bangkok, and Cloud9 joining the eight-team event to replace them, the organizers allowed the top two teams — Astralis and NRG — to draft their own groups, which required two teams from the North American league and two from the European league.

As such, the groups for the ECS Season 6 Finals group stage are:

Group A Group B
Denmark Astralis United States NRG
mousesports Liquid
Brazil MIBR Denmark North
Cloud9 Sweden NiP

Alongside the groups, FACEIT also unveiled the schedule for the event. Two notable additions to the event in the schedule are two planned showmatches, which will be played on November 25th, the day of the event's grand finals.

One showmatch will feature two Texan collegiate teams duking it out on the main stage, with the other being a charity match featuring players, talent, and guests to support the Movember Foundation.
