INTZ may be a lock, but who will take the second spot?

Americas Minor South America Closed Qualifier bracket drawn

INTZ enter as heavy favorites to take one of two spots at the Americas Minor.

The bracket has been drawn for the South America closed qualifier for the IEM Katowice Major coming up in 2019 featuring the likes of ESL Pro League squad INTZ as well as ESL LA League finalists Sharks and Isurus.

INTZ drew the lone Chilean representative team Evilvice, who have been able to solidify themselves as the best Chilean team with multiple Bo3 wins over Andes. On the same side of the bracket, the first open qualifier winner WILD will be battling Argentina's finest in Isurus.

The opposite side of the bracket sees 31-year-old Renato "nak" Nakano's team Sharks play off against W7M. Former Luminosity member Gustavo "SHOOWTIME" Gonçalves and his new team Imperial will be against YeaH! who are also boasting a new unknown roster since the departure of their previous lineup that had the likes of two Imperial players Caio "zqk" Fonseca and Bruno "shz" Martinelli.

The matchups will look as such:

Brazil INTZ vs. Evilvice
Brazil WILD vs.  Isurus
Brazil Sharks vs. Brazil W7M
Brazil YeaH! vs. Brazil Imperial

The double-elimination bracket takes place on November 17th through to the 18th, with two spots open to the Americas Minor in January 2019.
