optimus steps back from Final Feature
After being passed up by Infamous and eventually getting picked up by Final Feature, Ali "optimus" Mashhour has announced over social media that he will not be playing the last two matches of the Advanced regular season with his new team due to a sudden personal situation involving his family.
Also in the tweet, optimus floated the idea of relegating himself to the position of a substitute, but stated that the decision will ultimately be up to his teammates.
With optimus intending to briefly step down for personal reasons, Final Feature have brought back William "shonk" Kittrell, who has yet to depart the team's ESEA roster, to round out the squad as the playoffs near. With shonk returning, Final Feature have completed one of the two last Advanced matches which saw them take down subtLe on Inferno.
Unless optimus' team decides to use him, Final Feature's finalized playoffs roster looks to be:
Colton "BASE" Musella- Damien "droid" Boulware
- Daniel "picky" Milazzo
Jonah "JonahP" Pulice- William "shonk" Kittrell
- Ali "optimus" Mashhour (Substitute)
Final Feature are set for the Advanced playoffs, with a 10-5 record in the regular season. The team still have one match remaining against Dogs of War, who are just below them with a 9-6 record. The two teams' final match of the regular season will play out on November 13th.
