Four teams have claimed a spot in Odense, and just two days of play will determine the final duo that will join them

EPL Week 3 Recap - Liquid claim their spot in Odense

Just two slots remain as the league moves into its final two days.

EPL Season 8's third week of play concluded, seeing Renegades and Liquid join Ghost and MIBR on the road to Odense as four of the six qualified teams.

This week saw just 12 maps played compared to the previous week's 102, seeing the league move into it's closing matchups.

Envy had a chance to claw back from the bottom of the board with their double-header against Cloud9, who were forced to play both of their maps from Europe fielding Tyler "Skadoodle" Latham as they were in Copenhagen for BLAST Pro Series. Envy secured themselves a 16-7 win on Mirage before taking Cache 16-11, still leaving them at the bottom of the board but now with a chance to edge out of auto-relegation territory.

A split series against eUnited helped Envy grab another trio of points, and a loss to Luminosity in overtime granted Noah "Nifty" Francis and co. an additional point to place them just 3 points below Luminosity.

Rogue and compLexity pushed each other to their limits, with compLexity barely edging out Rogue on Mirage 22-20 before Rogue replied back by sneaking through a 16-14 win on Dust2. The Brazilian side of INTZ also managed to split series with eUnited, grabbing 3 points with a win on Cache before falling in overtime on Inferno.

The most surprising result of the week came just after INTZ went up against eUnited, with the Brazilians now facing compLexity. After managing to take both maps against the Major Legends, INTZ pushed their way past eUnited, Cloud9, and compLexity in the standings to claim sixth place, which they'll hope to hold on to next week to edge out a spot at Odense.

With most of the matches for the league complete, November 13th and 14th will play host to the final matchups to determine the final standings and complete the list of teams that will qualify for a spot in Odense. Envy still have a chance to push their way out of auto-relegation territory, but even so would still be forced to play in the EPL Relegation tournament against MDL teams.

eUnited still have a chance to qualify for EPL Finals should they grab both map wins against Luminosity and INTZ fall to Rogue, but only time will tell what the final list of teams will be. Some of the matchups to keep an eye on for next week are:
