freakazoid reveals more on Cooper- move; set to leave Swole Patrol at season end

A heated livestream gives a sizeable amount of information to the community.

After our earlier report that Austin "Cooper-" Abadir was headed to eUnited, Ryan "freakazoid" Abadir released a tweet slating his brother for making the choice to leave his side and move to the Pro League team.

The tweet was soon deleted, and replaced with the one below.

Afterwards, he launched his stream and began discussing the incident with those viewing. A number of choice words were directed towards his brother, including a direct statement telling him that "I'm always by your side, but when you did that shit? Come on man. You fucked me out of my dream and you fucked me out of my season."

freakazoid also revealed that Cooper- had initially been reached out to by eUnited "three to four weeks ago" when he initially turned the contract down, before they sent him an improved offer when Swole Patrol headed to EPICENTER 2018 in Moscow.

The full stream is available here, but some clips curated by our team are below:

The end of the stream was home to one key message, where freakazoid announced that he intended to leave the team at the end of the season, saying "If this is the way it's going to be then, I apologize to my team but [...] I'm not going to play with them anymore". This was later clarified by stating he'd remain until the end of ESEA MDL Season 29, intending to get the team to the Pro League and win the division, instead looking out for "my own offers or I'm going to stream."

He later re-opened his stream, answering some questions from those watching. He opened the stream saying "I don't want all this shit to cause backlash on my brother. Because out of all the things, I love him the most, I just don't want this to cause any sort of hatred towards him" before stating it was emotional for him and confirming that he would be looking for a new team next season. He compounded the belief in his brother, tweeting out that he was wrong in the way he reacted.

After the stream, Jordan "Zellsis" Montemurro confirmed the team will be using Ian "motm" Hardy for the remainder of the season. This means Vision will be down to four players, with them needing to pick up another player.

Swole Patrol are currently 8-0 in ESEA MDL, with the league's roster lock hitting on November 4th, meaning they'll be ending the season with whoever's left on the roster. Their next match in the division will be against Excelerate, tonight at midnight EDT.
