Think Outside the Box think inside the box to finalize their roster

Further changes are made as the team look forward to the end of the season.

Just a week after we announced the majority of the Think Outside the Box roster, the team have once again had a shuffle. The only players remaining in their spaces from last week will be Justin "Tee" Boylan and Elvis "tomford" Cavalic.

On the way out will be Ahsan "draek" Ismailzadah, who was previously the longest serving member of the team's playing roster. He will be replaced in that role by returning squad member Caleb "jaychancE" Davis, who had flirted with cantwinalan, trying out with the team in the DreamHack Open Atlanta open qualifier. The other player leaving the team is recent recruit Nash "lenon" Lenon, who's brief four game spell with the team failed to secure a win.

The two "new" members joining the roster will be William "LaffyTs" Robertin and Jakeb "Siberia" Bibb. Both players had previously made appearances with the team while they were under the Fam143 banner. Since then, LaffyTs has been without a team while Siberia had taken part in a small number of games for Geostorm in ESEA Advanced. One of the more memorable parts of LaffyTs' time on Fam143 was the reveal of his VAC ban during the FACEIT London qualifiers.

Talking to Dust2.us, team coach Justin "NEX" McLellan stated that the team were "Mainly gearing towards next season. They want to go back to the original roster from when we got 2nd in Main." Referring to ESEA Season 27 when they received promotion to the division they currently reside.

The Think Outside the Box roster is now:

  • United States Caleb "jaychancE" Davis
  • United States Justin "Tee" Boylan
  • Canada Elvis "tomford" Cavalic
  • United States William "LaffyTs" Robertin
  • United States Jakeb "Siberia" Bibb
  • United States Justin "NEX" McLellan (coach)

Think Outside the Box are currently 1-12 in ESEA MDL, with their next match is set to be against Singularity, scheduled for 9 PM EDT tonight (October 31st). With LaffyTs and Siberia, as of publication, yet to fufill their league payments it is unknown if they will be able to take part in the match.
