The Infamous 4pack, completed unrelated to the infamous 2pac

Ali "optimus" Mashhour, Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak, and Tyler "tweiss" Weiss have appeared on Infamous' ESEA roster for the upcoming second IEM Katowice open qualifier. It is unknown whether Brendan "bwills" Williams remain on the squad as he is absent from the qualifier roster page, while Nassir "rugrat" Francique tweeted out yesterday that he was searching for a new team. However, both rugrat and bwills remain on the team's ESEA league roster, and none of the aforementioned players have been added.

Dust2.us knows that Infamous intends to trial optimus, 4pack, and current Final Feature roster-rider tweiss during the qualifier and in upcoming matches, but the roster formulation remains in question.

Excelerate lose tweiss and L0NER

tweiss has been inactive since his departure from Excelerate last season, parting ways with the team shortly after they had signed with the organization. He was unable to attend Fragadelphia 11 as he already had a trip planned at the same time as the event, going on to say that he "will most likely not play unless a team has a legitimate sponsor that can help cover wages I would lose for working/something to supplement for school."

optimus, up until recently, was playing in Advanced alongside the rest of iNTACT, but was cut from the team earlier in the week. In a number of follow-up tweets, optimus further clarified that "friendships always prevails in this game", finding it amusing that he was cut just a day after retweeting a video about sacrificing friendships in teams to prevent egos from clashing and to keep the team together.

4pack was initially set to link up with iNTACT after Sam "Noxio" Goodwin was also released from the team, but instead opted to join cantwinalan during their roster-restructuring. Less than a week later, he found himself cut in favor of Mitch "mitch" Semago, with both 4pack and the team citing the player's lack of experience as the primary issue.

Infamous' roster for the second IEM Katowice open qualifier looks as follows:

  • us Mike "real_bM" Desanto
  • us Josh "JoshRT" Lee
  • us Blake "Strings" Stringer
  • us Ali "optimus" Mashhour (trial)
  • us Kevin "4pack" Przypasniak (trial)
  • us Tyler "tweiss" Weiss (trial)

MDL Week 6 Recap - Singularity reaches the peak

Infamous are currently in ninth place in MDL Season 29 with a 7-6 record, sitting just below the cutoff for a spot in the playoffs. Just six matches remain for the team to push their way back up the board, but some of their most difficult opponents lie ahead in Mythic, Swole Patrol, and Bravado. If 4pack was to join Infamous, the team's next matchup would see him face off against his very recent and brief former teammates on cantwinalan.
