High-fives to the playoffs

The final North American-based team at the StarSeries i-League Season 6 finals, after NRG went through and compLexity were eliminated, was Australian team Renegades. They faced Imperial in their 2-1 match, with the winning team headed to the playoffs.

The two teams played on Cache, with Renegades getting the 3-0 start on what was a close first half. The two teams wrestled for control throughout the entire half, with both teams having periods of control on both sides. It was the end where Imperial took control, albeit through a narrow 8-7 lead at the break.

The second half was a much stronger show from Renegades, as they once again opened up with the pistol round and following anti-eco. The third round saw Imperial once again get into the game and take the lead, but that would be the last time as Joakim "jkaem" Myrbostad and co. went on a CT-side rampage, only dropping one of the final seven rounds as they cruised to a 16-12 victory.
