Liquid continue to show themselves as the dominant team of North America
Week 1 of ECS Season 6's North American regular season has wrapped up, with Liquid and MIBR currently in the top seats of the standings.
Liquid have reigned supreme this week, taking 2-0 wins against Lumiosity and AZIO, as well as trading maps with MIBR. MIBR themselves also made a good showing, taking both maps against AZIO and tying with Liquid as previously mentioned.
Luminosity's rocky showing online has continued into ECS, with the team only finding one map win over Cloud9, eUnited, and AZIO. With 2-0 losses to Liquid and Rogue, the Brazilian team are currently 3-7 in the first week, having already played 10 matches.
As the only team in ECS that is not also in EPL, AZIO were unable to make a huge impact in the first week. While Michael "Grim" Wince was able to pull out an incredible ace against MIBR, the team were unable to find a map against Liquid or MIBR. However, they did manage to find one map against Luminosity, with Infinite leading the Americans on Cache.
compLexity, NRG, and Renegades did not play matches this week. While compLexity and NRG will be debuting in two weeks, Renegades' first match will not be until October 22nd, where they will take on MIBR.
