MDL Week 2 Recap - Mythic and AZIO top the standings

The second week of MDL has come to a close, seeing Mythic continue their winning ways. Another forfeit win from the ex-Dignitas roster was handed out to Samuel "SileNt" Portillo's Old Guys Club roster, who have yet to play a match this season.

Notable results this week saw Excelerate continue their lackluster form as they fell to Infamous on Mirage 14-16 after initially being up 14-11. Their second match of the week against VAULT almost resulted in yet another loss for the struggling squad, but Michael "agM" Abood and Keanu "DaneJoris" Reyes combined to help narrowly edge out a 19-16 overtime victory after being down 12-3 at the half to the Columbian team.

The newly promoted Brazilian side of oNe also failed to make waves as they fell in two of the more difficult matchups of the season, dropping 10-16 to AZIO and 8-16 to Bravado. They were able to redeem themselves with a dominant 16-2 win over Infamous, although their most promising star in Alencar "trk" Rossato continues being notably absent on the scoreboard in the team's MDL matches so far.
