ex-Dignitas meet unassisted demise*

Peter "ptr" Gurney is once again without a team, as he has left ex-Dignitas after four months with the roster. ptr leaves just a mere day before ESEA MDL Season 29 commences, meaning the ex-Dignitas roster is down to three players.

ptr joined the then-Dignitas team after being benched on compLexity at the end of March, due to the addition of Shahzeeb "ShahZaM" Khan and Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz. ptr took part in ESEA MDL Season 28 with the team, where they finished 5-8th in the playoffs. The team's only LAN apperance in this time was the FACEIT London Americas Minor, where they finished 5th-6th following losses to Rogue and compLexity.

When approached by Dust2.us, ptr told us:

I didn't feel confident in the lineup we were putting together. I also just want to see what options I have. Loved playing with those guys though. Wish we could have figured something out.

UPDATE: In the wake of ptr leaving the team, and shortly after this post, both Anthony "gMd" Guimond and Mitch "mitch" Semago left the roster as well, with the former citing the fact that the team was now dead due to not retaining two players from last season.

It is not currently known what will happen to the team's spot in the league.
