Glockoma and Geostorm relegated back to Advanced
After knocking subtLe down into Advanced, Geostorm return to Advanced, alongside Glockoma, by ETHEREAL and Vault respectively.
ETHEREAL began the series with an extremely strong first half on Inferno, with Jin "Jindoke" Park easily giving his team the lead with a 12-3 first half. Their strong performance continued into the second half, with ETHEREAL taking the map 16-4.
ETHEREAL's dominance continued on Mirage, with the team going 9-2 in the first half before meeting some resistance from Geostorm, who managed to claw back the four remaining rounds in the first half, with a 9-6 scoreline at halftime. Geostorm's comeback was but a mirage however, as ETHEREAL resumed their strong play, taking the map 16-7, closing the series 2-0, and demoting Geostorm to Advanced.

Vault dominated Glockoma on Glockoma's map pick, Cache, going 12-3 in the first half. Vault's strength continued to show in the second half, with the Colombian team taking four straight rounds to close the first map 16-3.
Joel "jcrueL" Cruel returned the favor on Vault's map pick of Train, as Glockoma went 13-2 in the first half. While Vault were able to win two rounds in the second half, Glockoma easily closed out the map 16-4, tying up the series.
With both teams taking dominant maps in the series, the series was pushed to the decider map of Inferno. Vault took the lead in the first half, going up to 9-1 before Glockoma pulled out four rounds of their own. While Vault were up 10-5 at halftime, Glockoma continued to try and tie the game, taking the first three rounds of the second half. Vault retaliated, eventually closing the map in their favor 16-10 and taking the series 2-1.

With Glockoma and Geostorm knocked out, ETHEREAL and Vault move forward in the MDL Relegation bracket, where they are set to take on Big Frames and Forty Six and 2 respectively later tonight. The winners of the matches will move on to MDL, with the losers moving to the fifth place decider.
