MSI MGA Closed Qualifier playoffs bracket drawn

The 14 team tournament will see one team make their way to the Big Apple.

The playoffs bracket for MSI's MGA closed qualifier has been released, seeing eUnited and compLexity claim top seeds to claim a spot in the quarterfinals. The remaining 12 teams will look to join them as they fight for a single spot at the four-team MSI MGA Finals in New York, with the grand finals set to take place on the ESL One New York stage just before the grand final of the $250,000 tournament.

Notable opening matchups will see the Fam143 take on the Brazilian side of FURIA, who recently completed their move to Miami as they look to impress in North America. Vision are also up against the stream team of Mythic in their opening matchup, while Gorilla Gang will take on the new-look Vireo.pro.

The complete bracket for the tournament can be found here. Matches are set to play out on August 11th with only one team moving on to the grand finals in New York, where they'll face teams from Europe, CIS, and Asia for a spot on the ESL One New York stage and the lion's share of $60,000.
