Both oNe and Whatever It Takes attended Fragadelphia 12, with oNe placing higher in the bracket overall. Despite the disappointing finish for the Brazillians on LAN, the team shredded through WIT, with Alencar "trk" Rossato continuing to be the team's outstanding fragger, with the player nearly racking up 50 kills across the two maps. With a clean 2-0 win, oNe move on to the semifinals and there's no need for a tiebreaker.

Despite a surprising performance at Fragadelphia against teams like Vireo.pro, Hysteria fell to The Fundamentals. Oddly, both teams chose to field six players spread across the two maps played out in the series. Led by Ryan "ROBBY1" Robshaw, The Fundamentals easily took Mirage, despite a rocky second half, and managed to edge out Overpass in double overtime.

While Big Frames did attend Fragadelphia 12, the team wasn't able to secure a playoffs appearance at the event, with only one match win against squad. It initially appeared that Big Frames were in for a bad time online as well, with Geostorm barely edging out a lead on Cache at halftime 8-7. Big Frames ramped up their performance in the second half, plowing through Geostorm to secure the first map 16-12. Big Frames' momentum continued on into Inferno, with Big Frames dominating Geostorm 16-5 to take the series 2-0.

While one South America advances, another one falls as Vault have been knocked out by ETHEREAL. The series didn't begin too well for Vault, with ETHEREAL starting the series with a strong first map, handily taking Inferno. Vault began to become more competitive on Train and just barely edged out a win in triple overtime. On Cache, Dennison "fdeN" Fong and Sol "snim" Min became thorns in Vault's sides, as the two players led their team through Cache, giving ETHEREAL the series 2-1.
