Mauisnake steps down from AZIO; seziwana cut from ESEA roster

The Hawaiian aims to further himself as a content creator, caster, and analyst.

Alex "Mauisnake" Ellenberg has announced via Twitter that he is stepping down from AZIO so that he can focus on building himself as a content creator, caster, and analyst:

Both Mauisnake and Dave "seziwana" Schrage have been cut from the AZIO ESEA roster as of approximately 6 PM EDT last night. Neither seziwana nor the organization have commented on his apparent departure.

Dust2.us knows that these moves come ahead of a massive roster overhaul by the team, as they look to improve upon their 7-9 season which saw them just barely escape MDL Relegation.

In addition to their MDL season, the team also secured a 3/4th finish at Tokyo in Tulsa 2, falling to eventual runners-up and fellow MDL'ers BlackOut.

AZIO's remaining roster for the time being is seemingly:

  • United States Willian "shonk" Kittrell
  • United States Frankie "NnyQuil" Miranda
  • United States Trevor "FrostayK" Bandle
  • United States Teric "Bibby" Ingram (Coach)
  • United States Jordan "tryhard" Trabue (Manager)

As for the new AZIO composition, the move is set to be announced some time next week after the conclusion of Fragadelphia, due to several involved players participating there. As always, stay tuned to Dust2.us to hear about North American CS news first!
