ESEA Season 28 MDL All-Star Game announced
ESEA has announced the MDL All-Star game for Season 28 of the league. Similar to last year, ten players will be voted on by the community out of a pool of twenty players chosen by ESEA. The top two players in the poll will then be nominated as captains, who will then form two teams out of the eight other players.
The match will then play out in a best-of-three series, with the three maps being decided based on yet another public poll. The winning team will collectively win $5,000 with the losing team only taking home $1,250.

The voting will begin today and close next week on July 21st at 5 PM EDT. Voting is currently open on ESEA's website.
The Season 27 MDL All-Star game saw Team steel take down Team freakazoid 2-1. Of the 10 players in last season's MDL All-Star game, all have been re-nominated for this season's by ESEA, barring those that moved on to the Pro League.
The MDL All-Star match will begin on July 28th at 5:30 PM EDT with a live captain draft followed by the match itself.
