StarSeries i-League Season 6 qualifiers announced
The qualifiers for StarSeries i-League Season 6 have been announced, with the Americas qualifier beginning on July 16th and culminating on July 28th.
The qualifier will see one team earn the opportunity to play for the $300,000 on offer in Kiev. Three other qualifier spots will be available for European and "Eastern" teams, with the remaining twelve sides receiving invitations.
The group stage of the qualifier will be played out by eight teams that will be split into two groups. After that, the top two teams of each group will advance to the playoffs, where they will be joined by four invited sides.
StarSeries i-League Season 5 was won by Natus Vincere after they defeated NRG in the finals. Aleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev was named the MVP of the tournament after a stellar performance throughout.
