daps and co. are set to be top seed in Group B at the upcoming ECS finals

ECS Season 5 Finals groups announced

The eight-team tournament have announced which teams are set for which group.

FACEIT have announced the two groups for the upcoming ECS Season 5 Finals in London, thanks to a new system from how they've selected the groups.

Due to Astralis and NRG topping the tables in their respective regions, they were granted first seed in Group A and B respectively. From there, they dished out the teams they wanted to avoid in their groups, and with Astralis given first pick they sent FaZe NRG's way. After this, NRG sent Fnatic to join Astralis.

The next picks were then decided by the selected teams, with Liquid being sent to Group A and G2 to Group B, before Cloud9 and Luminosity were chosen to round the groups out.

The groups for the upcoming ECS Season 5 Finals, by order of selections, are:

GROUP A GROUP B
Denmark Astralis United States NRG
Sweden Fnatic FaZe
Liquid G2
United States Cloud9 Brazil Luminosity

The upcoming ECS Season 5 Finals are set to take place at the Wembley Arena, London between June 8th-10th. The venue is set to be the same as the upcoming Major in London, so it could be set to be used as a test-bed for the event.
