StarSeries i-League Season 5 Finals first round drawn
The StarSeries i-League Season 5 Finals are set to begin next week, May 28th, at the National Palace of Artis Ukraina, in Kiev, Ukraine. As such, organizers StarLadder have sorted out the first round draw for the tournament.
With four North American-based sides competing in the event, sod's law was always going to put two of them up against each other in the first round. Liquid are coming off the back of some mixed offline form, including a recent 2nd place finish at the ESL Pro League finals this weekend. They face NRG, who are yet to follow up their strong online performances to a stage setting.
Elsewhere SK are hoping to turn things around, and they're given a match against VG.Flash to attempt a start at it. Australians Renegades have been handed a match against Swedish team GODSENT. Elsewhere, the battle of Poland is scheduled as veterans Virtus.pro are set to meet recent upstarts AGO.
