ex-Iceberg evolve into Squirtle Squad; try out L0NER and phantom
ex-Iceberg were reduced to just three players and a coach after parting ways with Warren "hades" Rettich and Nick "alter" Jackson. Now the team are looking to round out their roster with two new additions.
In addition, the team have settled on a new moniker — Squirtle Squad, which Brenden "stellar" McGrath and coach Mike "agM" Abood sported at the recent NSG Academy event.
Dust2.us knows that the team has been looking for one rifler and one AWPer to complete their ranks, and have been looking at multiple options for each role.
The formulation that is currently being used for the DreamHack Open Summer Open Qualifier features CheckSix member Jacob "L0NER" Webster picking up the sniping duties, and Ali "phantom" Sachs of ex-eRa rifling.
Both players aquitted themselves in the previous MDL season, despite their respective teams struggling on the whole.
The roster for Squirtle Squad in the DreamHack Open Summer qualifier is:

The team's next match in the qualifier, which will resume later today, will be against fellow MDL side Mythic. Two more wins will put them through to the Closed Qualifier and one step closer to a LAN appearance.
