eUnited edge out Swole Patrol in Gfinity Winter Series Upper Bracket
The end of the Gfinity Winter Series 2018 draws ever closer, as eUnited has bested Swole Patrol in the Upper Bracket Finals, leaving only two matches remaining in the playoffs.
While their series only went to two maps, the scorelines for each were as close as they come. eUnited managed to attain matchpoint on Cache at the 20 round mark, but a resilient Swole Patrol went on a streak of nine rounds of their own to take it into overtime, where they eventually fell 19-16.
After moving onto Train, eUnited ran away with the first half, claiming all but three rounds on their CT-side, leaving little hope for their adversaries in a nine round deficit. Mimicing their opponents successful defense, Swole Patrol managed to tie things up in the second half 13-13, but eUnited persevered this time around, closing out the last three rounds and the series 16-13.
